Our story
The history of Gigaset goes back a long way. Since 1941, the company has been closely associated with the town of Bocholt in the western Münsterland region, where our site is located. Our employees develop, design and produce cordless phones and smartphones here. This makes Gigaset the only European company to manufacture high-quality communication products of this kind in Germany. However, these products are in demand all over the world: Gigaset products benefit from a close association with the Made in Germany quality seal.

In March 2025, Gigaset proudly introduced its first rugged smartphones – the GX4 PRO and GX6 PRO – to the Australian market, marking the official launch of the Gigaset brand in Australia.
